It’s time for our Allentown Gators to shine! Starting March 17th, we are kicking off our ACAP testing season. To help our students stay focused and "locked in," we’re encouraging everyone to put on their Thinking Caps! 🎓💡

🧢 What is a Thinking Cap? It’s any school-appropriate hat that helps you get in the zone and do your best work!

Check the schedule below to see when your Gator is testing:

2nd Grade: March 17 – March 23
3rd Grade: March 24 – March 31
4th Grade: March 30 – April 8
5th Grade: April 1 – April 8

Jan 19: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday (School Closed).
Jan 20: 2025-2026 Yearbook Pre-orders Begin ($30.00).
Feb 13: Final deadline for Yearbook pre-orders (9:00 a.m.).

Reminders:
Uniforms: Please ensure students are in full uniform daily, including appropriate shoes and belts.

Safety: To keep all Gators safe, please observe arrival times and avoid early drop-offs.

Our PTO is amazing! For Teacher Appreciation Week, they showed Allentown’s teachers and staff how much they are appreciated with an amazing Wizard of Oz themed luncheon.

Congratulations to all of the entries in the 2025 MCPSS Film Festival. This year, Allenton had nine student film groups participate, and this is the most we’ve had involved. Two of our films, "Sheep and Flower" by Bella Montalvo, and "Lego Windblade" by Colton Block, were recognized. Our very own Bella took home the first-place award in the 3-5 Animation Category. Our school is so proud of all of our students, and we cannot wait to see what comes from our future Film Festival participation.
